What is Emotional Detox through Tantra and Tao Bodywork?

Emotional Detox   is a detoxification process that is part of the new age spirituality. Emotional Detox is the process of removing negative emotions to sustain positive emotions in order to maintain good emotional health that would lead to good physical health. There are abundant methods to go through an Emotional Detox; some common methods are meditation, revitalizing massages, revamping your friend circle, retail therapy, alone time or acting over a checklist to release the negative emotions that are taking the best of you. These methods do help you release negative emotions but some negative emotions are stubborn and stagnant and can exist undetected whilst programming your behavior unconsciously. Also these dormant negative emotions tend to surface unexpectedly and cause an emotional upheaval. Such emotions that are deeply seated are repressed emotions that are very painful to the individual and therefore have been muffled in order not to feel them again.

Is it vital to maintain a balanced emotional health as it gives uproot to a healthier physical state. According to Health and Safety Executive a study on Work related Stress, Anxiety and Depression Statistics in Great Britain in 2015; it was reported from the Labor Survey that the total number of cases of work related stress, depression or anxiety in 2014/15 was 440,000 cases, a prevalence rate of 1380 per 100,000 workers. Also in 2014/15 stress accounted for 30% of all work related ill health cases and 43% of all working days lost due to ill health.

The Tantric Journey Emotional Detox through Tantra & Tao Bodywork is different to other Emotional Detox methods as the negative emotions causing distress are removed from a biological perspective at a cellular level. And the methodology and manner in which the negative emotion is eliminated from our cellular makeup is through Tantra & Tao.

Concern 1 – “Am I making the right decision?”

As the nature of Emotional Detox through Tantra and Tao Bodywork is controversial in the mainstream, it is quite normal to feel that you are going to do that is something taboo and “bad”. If you catch yourself asking yourself overwhelming questions such as “what am I doing?” or “what is wrong with me” , it is indeed very natural as you have been socially programmed by the world outside to not to do anything that is unconventional in healing. Also if you had faced threatening situations in the past that had made you feel unsafe and exploited it is only natural that your defense mechanism makes you ponder about the credibility of your decision.

Tantric Journey advises you that for you to opt and yearn the possibility of healing via Emotional Detox through Tantra & Tao Bodywork, it is only to confirm that you have been guided by your intuition to heal your soul. The treatment will be taken at your comfortable pace and can always be brought to a halt if you happen to feel uncomfortable in any way.

Concern 2 – “I am damaged”

If you find yourself in a downward spiral of low self – esteem to have chosen to heal yourself through such a ‘drastic’ measure which involves a ‘controversial’ massage, please do not torment yourself. It is only human to beat ourselves up over something we are doing for ourselves. For many years as women and human beings we have been indirectly programmed to feel guilty to experience or find joy as there is always an “expectation versus reality” component looming over our lives. And that we have to endure hardship and immense trials to get to a happy point in life. And with the rise of materialistic goals and a faux “all is Instagram perfect” social media life you do not have to feel like a less worthy good.

You have to be proud of yourself to find a solution to the traumas that taunt you and consider yourself as a tigress whose stripes are the pain she endured to only remind you of your strength.

Concern 3 – “Will I be violated?”

No. The treatment will be paced as per your comfort and you can always bring it to a halt or stop if you please. And prior to the massage you will be able to have a talking therapy session with the practitioner to feel comfortable and safe and also to gauge your safety – comfort level.

Post Treatment Concerns

Concern 1–“I feel abused”

The purpose of Emotional Detox through Tantra and Tao Bodywork is to remove the trauma stored in the cells of your body. The technique of Emotional Detox through Tantra and Tao Bodywork open up your body’s cells to release these traumatic negative emotions in order to make more space for positive cells to proliferate and reside. The Emotional Detox through Tantra and Tao Bodywork uses the engineered massage to release the traumatic negative cells and the release does not happen only right away. The length of the release varies per individual depending on the impact of trauma that was inflicted. For some clients it could be a few days, for some weeks the other a month or two. During the release the client is subjected to the traumatic negative emotion in a replay manner – replaying the trauma. The replay can happen in little morsels or it could gush.

Therefore the release makes the client feel abused as she is going through the feelings that she endured during the abuse. Therefore this leads to her feeling abused.
Also there is another aspect called Trauma Transfer Syndrome that takes part in this release. In order to get a better understanding of Trauma Transfer Syndrome click here

More often than not when you are feeling these emotions that scare and frighten you, you will look for a point of blame to relieve yourself of the unjust situation. Therefore it is only natural that you blame the practitioner and feel anger towards him.

Concern 2 – “What is happening to me?”

When the release of traumatic negative emotions are happening, you would feel overwhelmed by the intensity of some emotions and you will ask yourself “what is happening to me” as you will not be able to comprehend the amount and nature of emotions that has resurfaced. When you are an abuse victim who has been traumatized, it is quite natural to feel like the one at blame to have brought upon the traumatic experience.

Tantric Journey would like to assure you this is only short term and once your body has purged out the negativity you will feel such ease as there will be lightness about you. Your heart and body will feel light and you will start feeling more connected to yourself and everything around you.

Therefore it is vital to know these secretive concerns that taunt you are normal. And to feel such intense negative emotions after the treatment is normal too.

Every cloud has a silver lining.

And as Carol S. Dweck says, “You have to work hardest for the things you love most”, make joy and happiness what you love most.
