Vaginismus – involuntary vaginal contractions (V)

Vaginismus (V) is an involuntary spasm of the vaginal entrance (musculature of the outer third of the vagina that interferes with intercourse) making intercourse impossible, difficult or uncomfortable to penetrate due to involuntary vaginal contractions. 20% of all women may suffer from this condition.
