Last time we looked at the technique of tapping into the energetic frequency of desire in order to transform your life into something blissful. Now we look at four steps that can really help you to do this:
Step one: Immerse yourself in the object of your desire
Modern life is busy and it is so fast paced that we rarely take the time to sit back and fully pay attention to anything, for example, we now eat our meals on the hoof; now how can you fully appreciate a meal if you are shoveling food into your mouth, whilst holding a conversation, scrolling through your e-mails on your smart phone and texting someone and considering tomorrow’s work load? Slow things down and pay attention! Bring your full attention to whatever it is that’s stimulating your desire. Let it fully absorb your focus, and allow any other internal mind-chatter or resistances to fade away if you can. Don’t consider anything else…just take a moment to really pay attention and be present. This can be a harder task than it seems and it does take practice!
Step two: Breathe it in
Breathe in the beauty, joy, vitality, or whatever it is that’s attracting you. Imagine that you’re absorbing it through the pores of your skin with every breath you take. Close your eyes and imagine the object of your desire, picture it clearly in your mind’s eye as you breath in and out slowly and purposefully. With every breath in feel the joy, beauty, bliss and vitality of the object of your desire and with every breath out let go of all the tension you are holding onto. Practice this a often as you can throughout the day; it only takes a few minutes, but it takes a little mastering.
Step three: Spread the bliss
When you feel really positive and charged with blissful feelings, use your breath to spread the feeling through the body from wherever it is you’re feeling it most. Breathe in and draw the feeling up through the body as far as you can, spreading it further with each breath. If the feeling starts to slip, just refocus on the original catalyst: the object of your desire.
Step four: Say thank you!
When you’re ready to move on, don’t forget to give thanks to whatever it was that inspired you to remember how good and blissful life can feel. You should feel energised and revitalised.
